Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose

Oculamor operates on a fair-use basis. Usage limits exist to keep the Service fast, reliable, and affordable for all users.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Covered Resources

The following resources are subject to fair use limits:

• Number of active monitoring devices per account
• Number of driver profiles per account
• Number of active geofences per device
• Number of alert rules per device
• Push notification and email alert volume
• Support contact volume
• API calls (if and when API access is offered)
• Data polling and refresh frequency

3. Limits

Specific limits for each subscription tier are published on our pricing page. We may update these limits from time to time; material changes will be notified by email with at least 14 days' notice.

4. What Happens If You Exceed Limits

If your usage exceeds the fair use limits for your tier, we will:

• Contact you to discuss your usage and suggest an appropriate upgrade;
• If the excess continues, temporarily throttle or restrict the specific resource (not the whole account);
• For sustained or deliberate abuse, suspend your account under Section 13.2 of our Terms of Service.

We will always try to resolve fair use issues informally before taking restrictive action.

5. Automation, Scraping, and Resale

Automated access to the Service (including bots, scrapers, and programmatic polling), resale of data or service access, and commercial redistribution are prohibited without prior written authorisation from Oculamor.

6. Appeals

If you believe a fair use restriction has been applied in error, email [email protected]. We will review your case within 5 working days.
